Working With Color Scans

All color scans must be saved as CMYK so they separate properly when printing. High-end scanners automatically produce CMYK scans, but desktop scanners may produce RGB scans, so converting them to CMYK is necessary.

Images captured by methods other than scanning, such as digital photography, will be RGB and therefore must be converted to CMYK.
