Adobe announced that after the following versions listed below, they will no longer support Type 1 fonts.
Photoshop 23.0
Illustrator 27.3
InDesign 18.2
EPS and PDF files that contain Type 1 fonts will be okay to use. Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign documents that contain Type 1 fonts may be opened in the versions listed above and in earlier versions, but not in later versions.
When Type 1 font support ends, any Type 1 fonts you could previously access within Adobe programs will not appear in the in-program font list. Additionally, any file that contains a Type 1 font will trigger a “Missing Font” error when opened within an Adobe program.
